Introduction

In today's digital age, the use of technology in education has become increasingly important. One of the most effective tools used in the learning process is the LCD projector. These visual aids have the ability to increase interaction between teachers and students, and ultimately influence learning outcomes. However, the effectiveness of LCD projectors in enhancing communication in the learning process is still a topic of debate. This study aims to examine the relationship between the use of LCD projectors and the effectiveness of communication in the learning process at AMIK MBP Medan.

Methodology

The method used in this study is a correlational method, which involves examining the relationship between two variables. In this case, the variables are the use of LCD projectors and the effectiveness of communication in the learning process. Researchers collected data through two types of research: literature research and field research. Literature research involved collecting information from relevant literature and written sources, while field research involved surveys and data collection from respondents through questionnaires.

Research Sample

The research sample consisted of 174 specified respondents using purposive sampling technique, with a total population of 1,743 students. This sample size was chosen to ensure that the results were representative of the population.

Data Analysis

After analyzing the data, the results showed the Spearman (RS) correlation coefficient value of 0.92. According to the Guilford scale, the level of this relationship is categorized as a high and strong relationship. This shows that the use of projector LCDs has a positive effect on the effectiveness of communication in learning.

Hypothesis Test

The hypothesis test was also carried out, with a tcount that was greater than the ttable at a significance level of 0.05, showing that there was a significant relationship between the use of the projector LCD and the effectiveness of communication. In other words, the more frequent and effective LCD projectors are used in learning, the better the communication that exists between lecturers and students.

The presence of tools such as LCD Projectors not only facilitates the delivery of better material but can also increase student involvement in the learning process. When information is presented visually, students tend to more easily understand and remember the material. In addition, the use of technology in learning can create a more interactive class atmosphere, strengthen two-way communication between teachers and students.

The conclusion of this study confirms the importance of the use of technology in the educational process, especially in the AMIK MBP Medan environment. The use of LCD projectors has been proven to have a significant positive impact on the effectiveness of communication in learning. Therefore, students and teachers are expected to take advantage of this technology more optimally to improve learning outcomes.
