To overcome this problem, a passive LC filter is connected in parallel to the circuit. The results show that the LC filter with a capacitance value of C = 15 µF and inductance L = 0.28 H can effectively reduce harmonic distortion.

The simulation results show that the LC filter is able to reduce the total distortion of harmonisa (THD) significantly. The current is reduced from 3.5% to 0.46%, a decrease of 3.04%. The voltage also experienced a drastic decline, from 102.9% to 35.39%, showing a reduction of up to 86.73%.
