Introduction

Franchise business (franchise) is a business model that involves cooperation between two parties, namely franchisor and franchisee. Results

The results showed that the R Square value was 0.015. This indicates that only 1.5% of the cooperative relationship (Y) can be explained by the conflict variable (X). That is, 98.5% of the franchise cooperation relationship at the Medan City Alfamart outlet is influenced by other factors that are not examined in this study.

The results of this study indicate that conflict has a relatively small influence on franchise cooperation in Alfamart in Medan. This may be caused by several factors, such as:

Clear franchise structure and rules: Alfamart has a clear franchise structure and rules, thereby reducing the potential for conflict.
Effective communication: Franchisor and franchisee in Alfamart has an effective communication channel to solve problems and prevent conflict.
Adequate support and training: Franchisor provides adequate support and training to the Franchisee, so they are better prepared in running a business.
Positive Corporate Culture: Alfamart has a positive corporate culture, which encourages collaboration and mutual respect between franchisors and franchises.

Suggestion

Although conflict has a relatively small influence, it is still important to build an effective strategy in preventing and overcoming conflict. Here are some suggestions that can be applied:

Improve communication: Open and effective communication channels between franchisors and franchises are very important to build harmonious relationships.
Creating a forum for conflict resolution: Providing formal or informal forums to discuss problems and resolve conflicts constructively.
Increasing transparency: Providing transparent information to franchisee regarding company policies and procedures.
Building mutual trust relationships: Franchisor and franchisee need to build mutual trust and mutual respect.

Conclusion

This shows that the Alfamart franchise system is good enough in managing cooperative relationships and minimizing potential conflicts.
