Introduction

Aquades are added until it reaches the boundary line, then filtered using Whatmann No. filter paper No. 42. The filtrate obtained is then analyzed using the atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) at a wavelength of 283.3 Nm.

Results

The results showed that the level of lead ions (Pb2+) in red, white, and green cabbage was 0.3719 mg/kg, 0.3663 mg/kg, and 0.3551 mg/kg, respectively. Although there are small differences, all types of cabbage studied have Pb2+ levels below the threshold set by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 7387: 2009, which is 0.5 mg/kg.

Discussion

The results of this study indicate that the cabbage tested is safe for consumption.
