This has made the search and presentation of journals more challenging than ever. To overcome this problem, a method is needed that is able to classify journals automatically according to the relevant category. One solution that can be applied is to use the classification technique. In this study, the Rocchio algorithm was chosen as the main method for classifying journals.

The research methodology includes sampling of 160 journals as training data and 48 journals for test data. The journals were selected based on their relevance to the four main categories.

After going through the testing process, the results showed that the web-based journal classification system developed was able to reach an accuracy level of up to 93%. This achievement is an indicator that the system developed has great potential to be implemented in the academic and research world.
