However, the results also show that the structure of family ownership has a negative effect on voluntary disclosure. This may be caused by the tendency of family companies to better keep secrets and internal information, compared to more open companies. The structure of family ownership tends to cause greater control by the owners, which can reduce the desire to make more transparent disclosures.

Conclusion

From this analysis, it can be concluded that although family companies have advantages in terms of fast and focused decision making, they may have to pay more attention to the aspects of transparency and disclosure of information. Conducting more open disclosures can increase investor confidence and other stakeholders, which in turn can contribute to the company's growth and sustainability.
