The partial test results show that the operating cash flow has a negative and significant effect on cash dividends. This suggests that companies with high operating cash flows tend to provide lower cash dividends. Conversely, earnings per share has a positive and significant influence on cash dividends, indicating that companies with high profit per share tend to provide higher cash dividends. Net profit margin and return on equity have a positive influence on cash dividends, but are not significant, suggesting that although profitability is important, it is not a major factor in determining the amount of cash dividends provided by companies in this sector.

Implications and Recommendations

The results of this study provide some important implications for company investors and management in the property, real estate, and construction sectors. Investors can use this analysis to assess the potential dividends that can be given by a company based on operating cash flows, earnings per share, and profitability. Management can take advantage of the results of this study to develop optimal dividend distribution strategies.
