The observed parameters included plant length, number of puppies per clump, number of leaves per clump, tuber diameter, wet-dry tubers, flowering time, flower color, harvest time, leaf color, tuber shape, and tuber color.

Results

The results of this study showed that the Samosir local shallots in six accessions in Bakti Raja District had similarities in quantitative aspects. However, the character that distinguishes this accession is the wet tuber weight. The results are presented in the following table:
