In addition, the analysis of prevalence ratios shows that BBLR babies have a risk of neonatorum sepsis 3.2 times greater than babies born with normal body weight.

The results of this study indicate a significant effect of low birth weight on the incidence of neonatorum sepsis. With a prevalence ratio of 3.2, it can be concluded that the risk of sepsis in infants BBLR is three times higher than in infants born with normal body weight. This shows the importance of extra attention to infants with LBW, both in hospital and home treatment, in order to prevent complications that can lead to death.

Based on this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between low birth weight on the events of neonatorum sepsis. By understanding this risk, it is expected that medical personnel and parents can be more alert and take the prevention measures needed to protect these babies from the risk of dangerous infections.
