Giving birth with cesarean section is increasingly widespread in this modern era. Unfortunately, many mothers who give birth in this way do not breastfeed their babies. The medical record data of Kabanjahe General Hospital in 2009 showed that 96 out of 175 mothers who gave birth via cesarean section did not breastfeed their babies. This study aims to explore the influence of various factors on the behavior of breastfeeding mothers after a cesarean section at the Kabanjahe General Hospital.

The results of this study showed that work factors, community support, and family support had a significant influence on the behavior of breastfeeding mothers after the cesarean section. Among these three factors, community support was the most dominant influence.
