Introduction

Theoretical Background

Research Methodology

This study employed a correlational research design to examine the relationship between employee relations and job satisfaction at PT. CIMB NIAGA TBK. The population consisted of all permanent employees of the company, and a purposive sampling technique was used to select respondents. A questionnaire was administered to collect data on employee relations and job satisfaction. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson's product moment formula to test the correlation between the two variables.

Results

The results of this study showed a significant positive correlation between employee relations and job satisfaction. The correlation coefficient (r) was 0.737, indicating a strong relationship between the two variables. The level of significance obtained from the probability test was smaller than 0.005 (0.000 < 0.005), indicating that the relationship was statistically significant.

Discussion

The findings of this study suggest that employee relations activities conducted by PT. CIMB NIAGA TBK contribute to increasing employee job satisfaction. Effective communication, training programs, and employee involvement in decision-making are some of the activities that have a positive impact on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is a critical factor in creating productive and loyal employees. Employees who feel valued and heard tend to have higher motivation, which in turn will improve the company's overall performance.

Conclusion

In conclusion, this study demonstrates a significant relationship between employee relations and job satisfaction at PT. CIMB NIAGA TBK. The results of this study provide evidence that employee relations activities have a positive impact on job satisfaction, employee performance, and loyalty. Therefore, companies need to continue to develop and implement programs that support employee relations activities to create a conducive and productive work environment.

Based on the findings of this study, the following recommendations are made:

Limitations

This study has several limitations. Firstly, the sample size was limited to permanent employees of PT. CIMB NIAGA TBK, which may not be representative of the entire organization. Secondly, the study relied on self-reported data, which may be subject to biases and errors. Finally, the study only examined the relationship between employee relations and job satisfaction, and did not explore other factors that may influence job satisfaction.
