Poverty and unemployment are the main problems faced by the Indonesian people today. The government's attention to these issues is crucial in finding effective solutions. One approach taken to overcome poverty is through integrated and sustainable community empowerment. The Rural Independent Community Empowerment Program (PNPM) is one of the initiatives that focuses on guidance, counseling, services, training, and facilitators to the community. The aim is to improve the welfare of the community, while meeting their needs in aspects of health, income, education, and daily consumption.

Background of the Study

This study focuses on how community empowerment is carried out in the perspective of development administration through PNPM Mandiri Rural in Hilimo'asio Village, Idanogawo District, Nias Regency. The role of PNPM Mandiri Rural in increasing community empowerment in the village is the main focus of this study. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, where data is obtained through interviews, observations, and the distribution of questionnaires to 50 respondents.
