A total of 106 dentists were selected using purposive sampling based on certain criteria. The online questionnaire method was used to collect data from the respondents. The questionnaire consisted of multiple-choice questions that assessed the respondents' knowledge about the early signs of oral cancer, diagnostic techniques, and treatment options.

Results

The results of the study showed that 56.6% of the respondents had a good level of knowledge about early detection and diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma in the oral cavity. However, 41.1% of the respondents had sufficient levels of knowledge, while 2.7% were in the low category of knowledge.
