In spiritual aspects, educational needs are not met, although some of the needs of worship and spiritual cleaning can be met. However, the need for entertainment seems to have not been met.

On the social side, interactions between individuals are well established, but individual relationships with their families do not go smoothly. Social interaction between groups of leprosy and other communities can function properly. This shows that although there are challenges in meeting material and spiritual needs, there are still positive aspects of their social interaction.

The results of this study highlight the significant challenges faced by leprosy beggars in Medan City.
