We analyze the physical properties of the latex film produced, including tensile strength, purity, and tear resistance, and examine surface structures using an analysis of Electron Microscope (SEM) scanning analysis.

Results and Discussion

From the experimental results, it was found that the concentration of AL had a significant impact on the mechanical properties of NRL films. At a concentration of 0.05%, latex film shows the strength of the maximum tensile and tear resistance. This may be caused by the ability of AL in increasing the bond between latex molecules, thus providing better structural stability in the film produced.

However, for the best power, latex films at a concentration of 0.07% show better results. This increase in purity can be associated with the AL which provides a balance between strength and flexibility. At a higher concentration, the saturated effect can result in a decrease in mechanical properties, which explains why a 0.09% concentration does not provide optimal results.

SEM Analysis
