The decline in the performance of staff at the Puskesmas is a pressing concern, and one of the primary factors contributing to this decline is low work motivation. Understanding the determinants of work motivation is crucial in creating a conducive work environment that can improve the performance and contribution of staff in providing optimal health services for the community.

The Covid-19 pandemic has put immense pressure on the healthcare sector, including Puskesmas. The pandemic has led to a significant increase in workload, stress, and burnout among healthcare workers. Low work motivation is a significant concern in the healthcare sector, as it can lead to decreased productivity, poor job satisfaction, and increased turnover rates. Methodology

This study used Herzberg's theory to analyze the factors that influence the work motivation of the Puskesmas Lada Puskesmas staff in 2021. Responsibility, interpersonal relationship, working environment, reward, and leadership role are all significant determinants of work motivation. These findings are consistent with Herzberg's theory, which suggests that job satisfaction and motivation are influenced by a combination of intrinsic and extrinsic factors.
