The target of entertainment tax revenue in that period was achieved. However, in 2009 there was a decrease in entertainment tax revenue. This is caused by the existence of taxpayers who are in arrears in the payment of entertainment taxes.

Conclusion

This study highlights the need for an increase in supervision and law enforcement of taxpayers who are in arrears. In addition, intensive socialization and education need to be carried out to taxpayers about the importance of paying entertainment tax on time. That way, entertainment tax revenue can be increased and contribute greater in supporting regional development.
