This study uses a descriptive method with a cross-sectional study design, which was carried out from July to December 2013. Data collection was carried out from the medical records of patients diagnosed with cervical cancer at H. Adam Malik Hospital in 2012. The data collection technique used was Total Sampling With a non-probability approach, so all data is taken to provide a more comprehensive picture. This method allows for the collection of data from a large number of patients, which can provide a more accurate representation of the prevalence of cervical cancer.

The results of this study indicate that of the 229 samples of cervical cancer patients, the age group 41-50 years is the group most commonly found with a percentage of 34%. Of the total patients, 76 people (33%) have a history of abortion, while 153 people (67%) have no history. In addition, the age group 41-50 years also dominated with the highest number of patients who had a history of abortion, reaching 38%. These results suggest that there is a relationship between age and history of abortion with the prevalence of cervical cancer.
