In today's fast-paced world, adolescents are constantly faced with various temptations that can lead to negative behavior, one of which is drug abuse. The problem of drug abuse among adolescents is a significant concern for parents, educators, and policymakers. In Muhammadiyah 2 Medan High School, research has shown that family support, especially from parents, plays a crucial role in preventing teenagers from falling into the problem. This support not only helps adolescents develop mature personalities but also gives them mental power to deal with various problems that might arise.

Family support is essential for adolescents in preventing drug abuse. Research has shown that adolescents who receive emotional support from their families are less likely to engage in drug abuse. Results

The data collected in September 2016 showed very positive results. With high support, teenagers are more likely to deal with and reject drug temptations.
