The classification of lesions type based on Newton's classification was also part of this analysis. The majority of patients with female sex (85%), and 59.4% of them were Full Bite Users (GTP). Another interesting finding was that 52.6% of respondents used dentures for more than 5 years, while 32.3% of them only cleaned their dentures once a day. The use of dentures for more than 16 hours a day was also quite significant, reaching 94%. Regarding systemic disease, 65.4% of respondents did not have this condition, and 24.1% used non-fitting dentures. Most of the dentures were made in dental practice, with a figure of 46.6%. The most common type of denture stomatitis was types I and II, with a percentage of 48.9%.
