Introduction

This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, where data collection was carried out through observation and direct interviews with the head of the library and librarians in the UMA Library. The data preparation process involved grouping the results of the interview based on the assumptions of the problems encountered and the answer patterns of the informant.

The results of this study showed that the UMA library had a structured weeding policy and its implementation went well.
