Analysis of the Level of Welfare of the Community Recipient of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Stabat District, Langkat Regency

Introduction

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a government initiative aimed at improving the welfare of low-income families in Indonesia. The program provides financial assistance to families in need, with the goal of increasing access to education, health, and other basic needs. However, the effectiveness of the program in achieving its goals is still a topic of debate. Methodology

The research population includes all PKH recipient communities in Stabat District, with a total of 1,980 PKH beneficiary families (KPM). The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with an estimated error rate of 10%. By using the Slovin formula, there were 95 samples of samples from KPM PKH.

Results

The results of this study show that the implementation of the Family Hope Program in Stabat District has a positive impact on improving the welfare of the community. However, more in-depth analysis revealed that the welfare level of PKH recipients in Stabat District is at a moderate level. This shows that although there are improvements, there are still challenges that need to be overcome to improve the welfare of the beneficiaries.
