Results

The results of this study showed that charismatic leadership style and five personality factors simultaneously had a positive influence on employee performance. This is indicated by a significant F-value (10,537 ≥ 2,666) and a significance value that is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 ≤ 0.05). Furthermore, this research found that charismatic leadership style became the dominant predictor in improving employee performance.

Discussion

The findings of this study suggest that to improve employee performance, organizations can focus on two main aspects:

Building Charismatic Leadership: Charismatic leaders are able to inspire, motivate, and build self-confidence in their subordinates. They have a clear vision, are able to communicate well, and show a high commitment to the organization's goals.

Developing Positive Personality: This research shows that two personality factors, namely "openness" (openness to experience) and "conscientiousness", have a significant influence on employee performance. Individuals with "open to experience" tend to be creative, curious, and able to adapt to change. While "thorough" individuals have characteristics such as discipline, responsibility, and have high dedication.

Conclusion

The development of these two aspects will encourage the creation of a positive and productive work environment, and improve employee performance as a whole. Organizations can focus on building charismatic leadership and developing positive personality traits in their employees to improve performance and achieve excellence.
