Methodology

This study uses a random factorial group design with two main factors: First, the administration of liquid organic fertilizer of banana stems with a dose of 0 ml/plot, 50 ml/plot, 100 ml/plot, and 150 ml/plot; And secondly, giving bokashi which includes without bokashi, gamal leaf bokashi, and johar leaf bokashi. Observed parameters include plant height, stem diameter, leaf area, clutch cob weight, cob weight, cob length, cob diameter, cob weight per plot, dry seed weight/plant, weight of 100 seeds/plant, and dry seed weight per plot.

Results

The results showed that the administration of banana stem liquid organic fertilizer with a dose of 150 ml/plot had a significant positive impact on the growth and yield of purple corn. Parameters such as clogged cob weight, cob weight, cob length, cob diameter, cob weight per plot, dry seed weight/plant, weight of 100 seeds/plants, and dry seed weight per plot has increased significantly.

Giving Bokashi is also proven to be effective in increasing the production of purple corn plants, with Johar leaf bokashi showing more optimal results. Parameters that have increased include clogged cob weight, cob weight, cob length, cob diameter, cob weight per plot, dry seed weight/plant, weight of 100 seeds/plants, and dry seed weight per plot.

The results also showed a positive interaction between the provision of organic fertilizer liquid banana and bokashi stems. The combination of these two types of organic fertilizer significantly increases clogged cob weight, cob weight, cob length, cob diameter, dry seed weight/plant, and 100 seeds/plants.

The results of this study provide concrete evidence that the use of liquid organic fertilizer banana and bokashi can be an environmentally friendly solution to increase the productivity of purple corn plants.
