Introduction

The increasing number of motorized vehicles on the roads of big cities has become a major contributor to air pollution, posing a significant threat to public health and the environment. From the measurement results, the highest CO concentration occurred on Wednesday afternoon at 62,500 μg/m³, while the highest SO2 concentration was recorded at the same time as the value of 18.98 μg/m³.

Using the BMSC method, the calculation results show that the highest CO concentration was recorded at 58,330.60 μg/m³ on Wednesday afternoon, and for SO2 it reached 19,019 μg/m³ at the same time. This shows that BMSC can be applied well on Jalan Putri Hijau, because the results of the concentration of CO and SO2 produced by the modeling are in the range in accordance with direct measurements.
